To Ensure Our Guests’ Comfort and Well-Being

Arrival and Departure

  • Arrival: Please deposit your personal ID / passport with the reception on the day of your arrival.
  • Departure: We request that you vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. of the day of your departure.

Hotel Services

    • Bath robes: You are welcome to borrow bath robes at the Front Desk (one-time fee of EURO 7.50, good for your entire stay).
    • Bathing towels: Please do not take the hotel bathing towels with you to the Völser Weiher swimming zone.
    • Hotel safe: Safety first! We recommend that you deposit your valuables in your room safe. You can pick up the key to the safe at the Front Desk.
    • Room keys: In the event that you leave the hotel premises and return only late in the evening, please take your room key with you so that you can unlock the main entrance.
    • Wake-up call: We will be happy to give you a wake-up call, if you like. Please inform the Front Desk.
    • Flowers: We will be happy to provide your room with flowers. Please inform the Front Desk.
    • Mail box: You can leave your outgoing mail in the mailbox in the Reception area. The mail is picked up every day at approx. 10:00 a.m.
    • Postage stamps: Are available at the Bar / Front Desk.
    • Bus shuttle: Every half-hour to/from Völs/Fiè (from mid-June till mid-September). Subject to change without notice.

    Telephone

    • Telephoning: To call another guest in our hotel, just dial the room number.
    • Useful hotel numbers: Bar 377, Office 365, Front Desk 100.
    • Outside phone calls: First dial “0” – you’ll then hear the signal indicating that the line is free. Then dial the prefix for country you’re calling. Omit the first “0” of the area code, and then dial the desired number (e.g.: 0 / 0049 / Dortmund 763 / 7896)
    • Country prefixes: Germany 0049, Belgium 0032, France 0033, Switzerland 0041, Austria 0043.

    Hotel Amenities

      • Sauna: Our Sauna is free of charge and is open from 3:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. (during bad weather: from 2:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.) Outside of these stated hours, we charge EURO 10.oo per person.
      • Solarium: There are two solariums in the gym. You can purchase the necessary tokens at the Bar. You can choose between the facial tanner and the whole-body tanning couch.
      • Gym: There is a gym (fitness room) on the basement floor. Pick up the key at the Bar.
      • Library: There are guidebooks available in the “Spruce Room.” If you’re interesting in books on cuisine, please ask your host, Mr. Hans Peter Kritzinger.
      • Gifts: Are you looking for a gift to take home with you? We carry homemade bacon, cheese, marmalade, wine, or grappa – everything from our cellar, at affordable prices!

      Dining and Drinking

        • Dining hours: The breakfast buffet is open to serve you from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m.
        • We will serve you dinner from 7:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.
        • We ask all of our guests to please check the extra charges every morning so that we can correct any mistakes. You’ll find the corresponding print-outs at your breakfast table. For technical/organizational reasons, we are unable to make any subsequent changes when preparing your final bill at check-out time.
        • Our restaurant is closed Tuesdays.
        • Special dietary requirements: If you have special dietary needs (e.g., if you are dieting, or are allergic to certain food items), please inform our restaurant manager or notify our kitchen. We will be happy to meet your special needs.

        Pets

          • Your pets are welcome at the “Seerose.” Please note that pets are not allowed in the indoor swimming pool area and the dining room. And please don’t forget to bring along your pet basket and/or pet blanket.
          • We charge EURO 9.oo per day (not including pet food) for your pet.

          Gratuities (Tips)

          • We ask that you place your gratuities (tips) in the common pot located in the Bar so that they can be distributed fairly among all of the employees.

          Health

            • First-aid supplies: In the case of minor injuries like small cuts and scrapes, we can provide you with bandages from our hotel first-aid supplies.
            • In case of more-serious problems, please contact the pharmacy in nearby Völs/Fiè. It is open from 8:00 a.m. till 12 noon and from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. The pharmacy is closed on Tuesday afternoons. There are additional pharmacies in Seis/Siusi and Kastelruth/Castelrotto.
            • Physicians: There is a medical aid station for tourists in Seis/Siusi-Telfen, right next to the tennis courts. In urgent cases, we can notify the White Cross for you (phone: Tel. 118).

            Activities at and around the Hotel

              • Fishing: After you’ve picked up your fishing license at the Bar, you can go fishing at the Huber Weiher (pond). We will be happy to prepare your catch for dinner.
              • Tennis: Our quartz sand tennis courts are available for your use. Please sign up in the schedule located at the Bar.

              For an All Around Pleasant Stay in Our Area

                • You’ll find bus schedules for the Seiser Alm / Alpe di Siusi, with service to Bozen/Bolzano or Brixen/Bressanone posted at the Front Desk.
                • Hiking equipment: We can lend you backpacks, hiking staves and Nordic Walking poles, etc. – Just ask at the Front Desk.
                • You can obtain hiking maps for the local area at the Front Desk.
                • Tennis: There are indoor tennis courts equipped with granulate floor covering in Seis/Siusi-Telfen.
                • We will be happy to lend you tennis rackets and balls - Just ask at the Front Desk.
                • Horseback riding: The nearest horse stables are in Telfen-Kastelruth/Castelrotto.
                • Tobogganing: During the winter, you can borrow toboggans or ski poles free of charge. Just ask at the Front Desk.
                • There are golf links just 5 km from the Hotel Waldsee.
