Excursions in the local area - Discover South Tyrol.

Fiè and the Sciliar region

A multitude of adventures.

Experience a journey through time back to the Middle Ages on Prösels Castle, Castelvecchio Fortress, the Salego ruin and Trostburg Castle. In the farming museum you can discover all about the life of farmers in the olden days. Remember you own school days in the Tagusa school museum. Classical music enthusiasts should not miss the Summer Classic and the Sciliar International Music Festival. In winter Swing on Snow brings music to the pistes and the ski huts. We also recommend a trip to the Spatzen museum dedicated to one of South Tyrol’s most successful folk music group. If you would like to see the Kastelruther Spatzen live, come to the Spatzen Festival.

Bolzano - living South Tyrolean style

An excursion to the provincial capital.

Walther square, the archades, the daily fruit and vegetable market, and a visit to Ötzi the ice mummy in the archaeological museum. Time flies on a visit to Bolzano. Elegant shops, comfortable café bars and inns. A sparkling combination of Italian flair and South Tyrolean warmth.
