Hotel Waldsee Information and Terms / Conditions

Arrival from 2 p.m.: Please deposit Your personal ID / passport and also those of Your children at the reception on the day of Your arrival.
Departure: On the day of Your departure we ask You gently to leave the room until 10:00 am.

Our Hotel is a no-smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited in all areas (smoking in public areas is forbidden in Italy since July 2005). Please do not smoke in the room – there are ashtrays at the reception.
Bath robes: You are welcome to borrow bath robes at the Front Desk (one-time fee of EURO 10,00 good for your entire stay).
Bathing towels: Please do not take the hotel bathing towels with you to the Völser Weiher swimming zone.
Bus shuttle: Every half-hour to/from "Völs/Fiè" (from June till october).
Hotel safe: Safety first! We recommend you to deposit Your valuables in your room safe. You can pick up the key for the safe at the reception.
House keys: Should you wish to stay out late in the evening please take your room key with you, which also unlocks the front door.
Internet: Free wifi
Swim area: The lake is 50m away from our main building. The swim area is private, so You have to ask for the key at the reception.

Telephoning: To call another guest in our hotel, just dial the room number.
Useful hotel numbers: Bar 377, Office 367, Reception 100.
Outside phone calls: First dial “0” – You’ll then hear the signal indicating that the line is free. Then dial the prefix of the country You’re calling. Omit the first “0” of the area code, and then dial the desired number (e.g.: 0 / 0049 / Dortmund 763 / 7896)
Country prefixes: Germany 0049, Belgium 0032, France 0033, Switzerland 0041, Austria 0043.

Sauna: Our Sauna is free of charge. In the winter season is open always from 3:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and in the summer you can order from 3:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. (during bad weather days from 2:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.).
Solarium: There are two solariums in the fitness room. You can buy tokens at the bar. Choose between the face tanner and the full body bench.
Gym: There is a gym (fitness room) on the basement floor.
Library: Literature from and about Tyrol and hiking guides are available in the Fichtenstube. If You are interested in culinary reading materials please talk to the host Hans Peter Kritzinger.
Presents: Are you looking for a gift to take back home? Home cured bacon, cheese, jam, wine or Grappa. Everything from our cellar - at fair prices!

Dining hours: The breakfast buffet is open to serve you from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m.
Dinner : Is served from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Receipt : We ask all of our guests to please check the extra charges every morning so that we can correct any mistakes. You’ll find the corresponding print-outs at Your breakfast table. For technical/organizational reasons, we are unable to make any subsequent changes when preparing Your final bill at check-out time.
Special dietary requirements: If You have special dietary needs (e.g., if You are dieting, or if You are allergic to certain food items), please inform our restaurant manager or notify our kitchen. We will be happy to consider Your special needs.

Your pets are welcome at the “Seerose.” Please note that pets are not allowed to stay in the indoor swimming pool area and the dining room. And please don’t forget to bring along Your pet basket and/or pet blanket.
We charge EURO 15.00 - 20.00 per day (not brought along pet food) for Your pet.

First-aid supplies: In the case of minor injuries like small cuts and scrapes, we can provide you with bandages from our hotel first-aid supplies.
In case of more-serious problems, please contact the pharmacy in nearby Völs/Fiè. There are additional pharmacies in Seis/Siusi and Kastelruth/Castelrotto.
Physicians: In "Kastelruth/Castelrotto" (Street: Vogelweiderstr. 10) is a tourist doctor. Tel. +39 0471/70544. In case of emergency we can call for You the emergency number 112.

Fishing: In the lake "Huber Weiher" You are allowed to fish. For the permission You just have to ask at the public parking place or at the restaurant near the lake.
Tennis: Our quartz-sand-tennis courts are available for Your use. Please sign up in the schedule located at the Bar. We also lend rackets and balls at the reception.

You’ll find bus schedules for the Seiser Alm / Alpe di Siusi, with service to Bozen/Bolzano or Brixen/Bressanone posted at the Front Desk.
Hiking equipment: We can lend you backpacks, hiking staves and Nordic Walking poles, etc. – Just ask at the Front Desk.
You can obtain hiking maps for the local area at the Front Desk.
Tennis: There are indoor tennis courts equipped with granulate floor covering in Seis/Siusi-Telfen.
We will be happy to lend you tennis rackets and balls - Just ask at the Front Desk.
Horseback riding: The nearest horse stables are in Telfen-Kastelruth/Castelrotto.
Tobogganing: During the winter, you can borrow toboggans or ski poles free of charge. Just ask at the Front Desk.
There are golf links just 5 km from the Hotel Waldsee.
